Daviess County Recent Arrests
Daviess County recent arrests do not come from a county-run jail feed. The sheriff's office points elsewhere. It sends searchers to the Daviess/DeKalb Regional Jail. That facility is known as DDCRJ, a separate entity based in Pattonsburg. The live JailTracker roster only fills in once an arresting agency transports a person. Jail staff must also finish intake. No source promises a posting hour. So a fresh arrest can be real while the name is still missing.
There is no page labeled "last 24 hours." Nor is there a fixed weekly arrest log. The official custody roster and periodic newspaper copies of sheriff incident reports cover different time windows. Neither gives a full history of every arrest. Treat both as snapshots, not a complete list.
| Window | Best available source | What it means | Photo status |
|---|---|---|---|
| New or same-day | Live DDCRJ JailTracker | Current or recently processed regional custody, not every arrest in a strict 24-hour period | A detail image has appeared historically; current display is not guaranteed |
| Several days | Periodic sheriff incident reports in local newspapers | Mixed arrest, traffic, medical, court, and call summaries with publication delay | No regular photo practice was verified |
| Older record | Request from the arresting agency, DDCRJ, or court | Records held beyond the public roster window, subject to closure and redaction rules | Request if maintained and releasable |
The Daily Arrest Report covers the same-day fallback chain. The Weekly Arrest Log widens the window to newspapers and archives.
When Daviess Bookings Reach Intake
A booking crosses agency lines before it becomes public. A deputy, trooper, or city officer makes the arrest first. Then comes transport, acceptance, a search, identification, a photo, and entry into DDCRJ's system. Only after those steps can a roster entry appear. The jail publishes no refresh schedule. It also makes no promise that every booking photo stays online.
Governance adds another wrinkle. The DDCRJ district formed in 2005, and its own history says the Pattonsburg facility opened in 2006. That shared structure puts Daviess and DeKalb names in one application, and it means the jail address alone cannot tell you where an arrest happened. The official DDCRJ resources page anchors the live roster.
The official resources page links to JailTracker without displaying any detainee list or booking photo.
Search the Daviess Jail Roster
JailTracker is a live, session-based app. It is not a stable archive that search engines index. Its setup can include name fields, current-only filters, booking or jacket numbers, agency filters, age and date-of-birth fields, captcha, charges, bond, status, release data, and an image panel. Not every control is active on every visit. Trust the screen in front of you.
| Search or result field | How to use it |
|---|---|
| First, middle, and last name | Start with exact spelling, then try a known middle name or variant |
| Age or date of birth | Narrow similar names only when the identifier is known |
| Booking or jacket number | Use the number as the stronger match when displayed |
| Book and release status | Distinguish current custody from a processed release |
| Agency, charges, and bond | Identify the source agency and charges recorded at intake |
| Detail image | Confirm whether a photo is currently public; do not assume persistence |
Open the app in a current browser. Allow JavaScript, confirm the Daviess/DeKalb facility, and search the full name. Open a likely match rather than trusting a grid row. Compare several identifiers before settling on it. If nothing appears, call DDCRJ at 660-367-2200 for current custody, or contact the agency that made the arrest for its report.
Does no result mean release? No. Intake may be unfinished, the spelling may differ, the public setting may have changed, the person may be released, or the feed may be down, and the VINELink Inmate Check covers notification plus its own feed limits.
Where Daviess Arrest Records Appear
Each official source answers a different question. JailTracker handles regional custody. The sheriff keeps reports written by deputies, MSHP holds patrol arrest reports, and Missouri Case.net carries the filed case. Local news can preserve a dated incident summary, while commercial sites are mere copies that sometimes blur Daviess with DeKalb.
| Channel | Official? | Custody slice and limits |
|---|---|---|
| DDCRJ JailTracker | Yes | Live regional custody; not a complete arrest archive |
| Daviess County Sheriff | Yes | Sheriff incident, arrest, warrant, and request routes |
| MSHP and Case.net | Yes | Patrol events and court cases, not a county booking feed |
| North Missourian and Tri-County Weekly | No, news | Periodic mixed-scope reports; delayed and selective |
| RecentlyBooked, Arrests.org, Mugshots.com, Mugshots Zone | No | Commercial copies that may be stale, duplicated, or mislabeled |
RecentlyBooked claims several updates a day and a 30-day window. DDCRJ does not endorse that claim. Arrests.org mixes up Daviess and DeKalb labels. Mugshots Zone is facility-oriented rather than a city source. Mugshots.com offers a county index but no steady update rhythm. None of them can establish current custody or a case outcome, so the RecentlyBooked Daviess page belongs only after the official routes, with that warning attached.
Copies surface in many places. A listing on a third-party site is not proof that a person is still in custody or how a case ended.
Daviess News Reports Are Periodic
Two papers matter here. Gallatin North Missourian and Jamesport Tri-County Weekly have carried dated Daviess County Sheriff incident summaries. Those reports mix arrests with investigations, traffic stops, medical calls, court activity, and routine events. Some name charges, bond, release, or transport to DDCRJ. Publication sets the pace, not the arrest. There is no same-day photo feed.
The sheriff site links an official Facebook account, but it follows no complete booking-photo cadence and the county lists no booking app. DDCRJ's V.I.N.E. link handles notification, not a public mugshot list, and Missouri DPS says MobilePatrol and Missouri Sheriff Connect are not MOVANS affiliates. A social page is never the roster.
Recent Arrests by Daviess City
A city label does not decide who holds the paper. The three mapped Daviess County cities appear in the state directory. They show no active municipal police rows there. That means the arrest may have come from the sheriff, MSHP, or another office. Whatever agency made it, DDCRJ stays the regional booking stop. It serves county-linked detainees.
- Gallatin Recent Arrests explains the current sheriff-service arrangement in the county seat.
- Jamesport Recent Arrests follows the agency field and the city's strong periodic newspaper path.
- Pattonsburg Recent Arrests separates the jail's physical location from the agency that made an arrest.
In each city, work three angles. Get the event narrative from the agency that made the arrest, the booking material from DDCRJ, and the outcome from the court.
Daviess County Booking Record Fields
A booking record holds intake facts. It is not the officer's narrative or the court's final word. JailTracker's model, along with old Daviess and DeKalb captures, gives a useful field list, though the public screen today may show fewer items.
| Field | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Name and identifiers | The person recorded at intake and a booking or jacket number when exposed |
| Book date and arrest agency | When jail intake was recorded and which agency was listed |
| Charges and counts | Charges received at booking, not findings of guilt |
| Bond and hold | Release terms or another basis for continued custody |
| Status and release date | Whether the record reflects present detention or a processed release |
| Photo | An intake image where the live configuration and law permit display |
A case number or court date may not show up. DDCRJ's FAQ states plainly that the jail gives no court dates or times. For that stage, use Case.net or call the Daviess County Circuit Clerk at 660-663-3300 extension 2.
Daviess Arrests After Release
One name can pass through several record states. A person just arrested may not appear until DDCRJ finishes intake. Someone in custody should have a live JailTracker detail. After release, the public result can change or vanish, even though the jail and arresting agency keep their files. A state prison sentence moves the person into the Missouri DOC system. A federal transfer belongs in a federal locator instead.
| Status | Best place to check | What remains uncertain |
|---|---|---|
| Just arrested | Arresting agency, then DDCRJ | Transport and intake may delay a roster entry |
| Booked and held | Live DDCRJ JailTracker | Public fields and photo display can change |
| Released | DDCRJ record request and arresting agency | A live roster may no longer display the entry |
| Case filed | Missouri Case.net and circuit clerk | Booking charges may differ from filed or final charges |
| State or federal custody | DOC, BOP, or ICE locator as applicable | Those systems do not replace the county arrest record |
This split also guards against stale copies. A dated page may still show a booking after release or after the court changed the case. Current custody and final outcome call for current official checks.
Daviess Mugshots and Booking Photos
Historical JailTracker captures show a photo in the individual detail result. Today, the DDCRJ site makes no promise of that. It does not say every person is photographed for public display. Not every charge type gets an image. A photo may not stay visible after release, and juvenile or protected records may not appear at all. A booking image simply records a look during intake.
For someone now under Missouri Department of Corrections supervision, the Missouri DOC Offender Search is a separate state source that may include an offender photograph. It does not replace the Daviess County booking roster. Federal BOP and ICE locators serve different custody systems too. Neither makes any local booking-photo promise.
No gallery is hosted here. If an official booking photo leaves public view, ask DDCRJ whether it is still kept and releasable. A third-party image can linger after release, sealing, or a source update. Treat it as no proof of present custody.
Request Daviess Booking Records
Requests must follow custody. A sheriff arrest or incident report goes to the Daviess County Sheriff's Office at 609 B South Main Street in Gallatin, by phone at 660-663-2031, or through sheriff@daviessmosheriff.gov. For a booking sheet or photograph, contact DDCRJ at 102 North Meadows Lane in Pattonsburg or 660-367-2200. Ask the jail to name the proper custodian.
- Give the full name, approximate date, and arresting agency or case number when known.
- Name the exact arrest report, booking sheet, or booking photograph sought.
- Ask for electronic delivery and a fee estimate before chargeable work begins.
- Request the statute supporting any denial or redaction and ask whether a partial record can be released.
- Keep the request and receipt date, then follow up on the custodian's written status.
Missouri's Sunshine Law demands action as soon as possible. The deadline is the close of the third business day at the latest. Otherwise the office must give a detailed reason and the earliest access date. The sheriff fee page lists $5 for up to ten report pages, $10 for eleven through twenty, and $5 for each further ten-page group. No booking-photo fee appears. Ask instead of guessing one. The official sheriff fee page shows the local report-copy schedule.
Note: The sheriff fee page lists the report rates and no booking-photo line at all.
Daviess Arrest Records Under Missouri Law
RSMo § 610.100 makes law-enforcement agencies keep incident, investigation, and arrest records. Arrest and incident reports are generally open. An active investigative report can stay closed. If no charge is filed within 30 days of an arrest, the arrest report closes. Statutory disposition details and other exceptions survive.
Juvenile court and social records stay confidential under RSMo § 211.321. Victim, medical, sealed, and safety-sensitive details may also be withheld or redacted. A public roster result does not grant a right to republish all personal data. Closed records can still be kept for authorized access. That status is not the same as staying on a public website.
- Arraignment
- The first court stage at which charges and plea rights are addressed.
- Bond
- Conditions for release while a case remains pending.
- Disposition
- The court's final outcome, such as dismissal, acquittal, plea, or conviction.
- Expungement
- A court-ordered process that closes or removes a qualifying official record under statute.
Old Daviess Booking Records
Missouri's sheriff retention schedule sets a five-year minimum for arrest records, also called booking sheets, arrest logs, fingerprints, or arrest files. Photographs and biometrics normally go to the Highway Patrol Central Repository. Local copies may be reference-only. The rule does not promise five years of public JailTracker display, and DDCRJ's own regional record series may need a direct request.
Qualifying records may close or be expunged under RSMo §§ 610.105, 610.122, 610.123, and 610.140. The official court petition must name every record-holding agency. Send the court order to each official custodian. A publisher copy or search snippet may then need its own free correction request once the source is fixed.
Missouri RSMo § 407.1150 bars a publisher from taking payment from the subject to remove or correct booking-photo or criminal-record information. Use the official correction path, an eligible court process, and a publisher's free policy. Never pay an unknown removal seller. No outcome is promised.
Daviess Arrest Warrants and Wanted Notices
The sheriff's office posts a Most Wanted page for Daviess County. It lists a tip line. Beyond that, the page shows no wanted names, no reward amounts, and no posting schedule. A name seen elsewhere may be stale. Treat the live page as the source. It is the word on who is wanted. Confirm an actual warrant with the court, the sheriff, or a lawyer.
The official endpoint is the Daviess County Most Wanted page on the sheriff's site.
Some warrants come from criminal investigations. Others, called bench warrants, follow a missed court date or similar duty. Either kind directs law enforcement to make an arrest. If you think one carries your name, ask an attorney, the court, or the sheriff. They can explain how to resolve it safely. Report a wanted person to law enforcement rather than approaching them yourself.
After a Daviess County Arrest
After a Daviess County arrest, the jail record and the court record go separate ways. DDCRJ tracks the custody side. It can show who is in custody, the bond amount, and any release date. It also lists the charges filed at intake. Court dates are another matter. Those live in Missouri Case.net. It is the state's official public docket. The circuit clerk can help with calendar questions within the limits of the record.
The usual path runs arrest, DDCRJ booking, then bond or a continued hold. A court filing and arraignment follow. Release from jail does not end a case. A person moved to state prison later appears in the DOC search, not the county roster. Court outcomes can also shift over time as charges are amended or dismissed.
Daviess Custody Beyond the Jail
State prison is a different system from the county jail. The Missouri DOC offender search covers people under state supervision. Search by name or DOC number. Watch for aliases, and read the custody or supervision details closely. A DOC photo comes from the offender system, not from a Daviess County booking.
Two other locators handle other custodies. The Federal Bureau of Prisons holds federal inmates, mainly in its post-1982 data. It offers no public mugshot gallery. The ICE Online Detainee Locator needs an A-number or exact biographical details. That covers ICE or CBP custody. Neither one sees a person held only at DDCRJ. Start with whichever system actually has legal custody. Then check the court or agency record separately.
Custody alerts in Missouri changed in May 2026. The current MOVANS service sends local-jail and state notifications by SMS or email once you register. Older phone and VINELink-app directions may not describe the local-jail path anymore. DDCRJ links a V.I.N.E. entry from its resources page. A no-result can mean an offline jail rather than a release. Check the live roster and call DDCRJ before you conclude.
Older Daviess County arrest material can sit in several places at once. A DDCRJ booking file, a sheriff or MSHP report, the Highway Patrol repository, and a court docket may all hold pieces. A newspaper copy can too. The Missouri State Archives helps local governments manage retention schedules. Yet no public historical DDCRJ photo archive exists. Ask each custodian for the named record series and date range. A law-enforcement record once existing does not mean an archived image survives.
